- Addresses and access details are provided when your booking is confirmed.
- Some teachers deliver lessons from their own teaching rooms operating under the Benana Music Studio umbrella.
These rooms are listed publicly as Benana locations for booking purposes and may also be used by other Benana teachers.
Where a teacher uses their teaching room for both Benana and private lessons, Benana’s policies, insurance and safeguarding arrangements apply only to lessons booked through Benana.
3. Lesson Structure & Durations
- Standard lesson lengths are 30, 45, or 60 minutes. Other durations can be arranged by agreement.

- Lessons are tailored to each student’s goals and may include instrument practice, theory, repertoire study, and creative projects.
4. Attendance & Punctuality & Responsibility
- Please arrive on time and be ready to start at your scheduled time.
- Teachers will wait up to 10 minutes after the start time; after that, the lesson may be marked as missed and charged in full.

- Students (or parents/guardians) are responsible for ensuring sufficient travel time, transport arrangements, and technical readiness for their lesson.
- Lessons missed or shortened due to transport delays, oversleeping, traffic, or connection problems on the student’s side are chargeable in full.

5. Cancellations & Rescheduling
- Lessons cancelled with at least 24 hours’ notice are credited or refunded in line with our Payment & Refund Policy.
- Cancellations within 24 hours are chargeable in full.
- If a teacher cancels at short notice, we will always do our best to arrange a suitable cover teacher so that your lesson can go ahead as scheduled. In these cases, the standard 24-hour cancellation policy still applies. If we are unable to arrange cover, the lesson will be credited to your account or refunded in full.
